Total return, through growth, income, and preservation of capital in declining markets
Timothy Plan's Growth and Income Fund is designed for the more conservative investor, or to provide a conservative element to an overall portfolio allocation. By investing in a combination of common stocks, preferred stocks and non-junk bonds, the fund's goal is to generate limited income and growth in most market conditions, with the preservation of capital as its utmost priority. The Fund seeks to achieve its objectives by investing primarily in common stocks and American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), and in fixed income securities.
The James Investment Research team seeks to find foreign and domestic companies' ADRs the Team believes are undervalued, without regard to capitalization. The Team considers common and preferred stocks, and exchange traded funds (ETFs) that invest primarily in equity securities. The Management Team looks at historic patterns of valuations as it considers fixed income issues for the Fund, as the duration of the fixed holdings are adjusted in response to regularly conducted analyses for interest rate risk.
